Where is Bosburcht?
Bosburcht takes place at the estate of Kasteel de Berckt in Baarlo. A stunning location, almost in the middle of nowhere. On this estate, there are two beautiful castles, surrounded by nature, moats, little bridges, and other lovely feautures.

Our values
Social safety
We embrace and support diversity, equality, and inclusivity. Our goal is to make Bosburcht a place where everyone can feel safe at all times and in all circumstances. Spread love, positivity, and joy to stay true to yourself.
Together, we are unique
We embrace and support diversity, equality, and inclusivity. Sexism, racism, homophobia, and any form of discrimination are not welcome here.
Respecting boundaries is sexy
In a place with so much freedom, boundaries can blur. Acknowledge each other's boundaries and ask for consent. Yes means yes, and anything else means no. Respect others' boundaries. If you feel unsafe or uncomfortable in any situation, all our staff members are approachable.
You can always turn to our Welfare & Social Safety team. You can also approach them if you need rest, a quiet space, or a listening ear for any reason.
If you suspect someone’s boundaries are being crossed, check in with that person, approach a staff member, or visit the Welfare & Social Safety team.
If you want to talk about an experience or observation afterward, please contact us at socialsafety@bosburcht.nl.

Live in the moment
The moment itself is always much more fun than the photos. So turn off your phone and live in the moment. Respect the privacy of those around you. Do not take or post pictures without someone’s permission.
Take care of yourself
Non-stop festival means there's always a party going on somewhere. Eat and drink enough, be kind to your body. Make sure you rest in time to fully enjoy the moments when you dance. Step into your car well-rested when you're ready to head home.
Protect your hearing
With a lineup you’ll be licking your fingers for, it’s important to take care of your hearing. So, wear your earplugs, preferably with a special music filter. This way, you can still enjoy the music, have conversations, and protect your hearing! Win-Win-Win! Didn’t bring earplugs? We sell them at the camping shop.
Take care of the environment
We’re in a beautiful location. Let’s keep it clean and intact, and we all play a part in that. Don’t throw your cigarette butts on the ground, but use an ashtray, and dispose of your trash in a bin.
We are warmly welcomed into a beautiful castle filled with special items. Let these objects touch you, look at them closely with your eyes, but leave the objects themselves untouched – accidents happen, and many things here have been around longer than any of us.

camping
Where can I pitch my tent?
With a weekend + camping ticket, you are allowed to put your tent in the designated camping areas inside one of the castles. A beautiful historic room transformed into a cozy indoor campsite.
Just a heads-up: your tent must be set up without ground plugs. The old brick floors aren’t too fond of being poked with metal stakes

Where is my castle room?
Castle rooms are located in both castles on the festival site, and have different layouts. Some have bunk beds, while others do not. It’s not possible to specify in advance which of the two buildings your room will be in or how it will be arranged. Castle rooms may slightly differ from the photos on the accommodation page.
do I need to bring anything?
The luxury of a castle room means you only need to bring your toiletries. Linens, a towel, and a cozy pillow will all be provided for you.
Is there electricity in the castle rooms?
Yes, there is electricity available in the castle rooms.
Sound disturbance
Some of the rooms are closer to stages than the others. Bosburcht is a day-and-night festival so we cannot assure you there won't be any disturbance from sound or other visitors movements. It is not possible to reserve a specific room. In most cases, the rooms are away from stages and sound. However, we advise you to bring sleeping ear-plugs.
