Where is Bosburcht?
Bosburcht takes place at the estate of Kasteel de Berckt in Baarlo. A stunning location, almost in the middle of nowhere. On this estate, there are two beautiful castles, surrounded by nature, moats, little bridges, and other lovely feautures.

We love throwing unforgettable parties for you, but we want to leave this stunning location exactly how we found it. That’s why we’re introducing the Trashbag Deposit system to help keep the campsite clean.
Here’s how it works:
You’ll receive a special trash bag when you arrive. When you return the bag filled with your garbage, we will scan your entrance ticket to process your deposit refund.

tickets & Resale
Does the name on the ticket have to match my ID?
Yes! Tickets are personalized, and we will check your ID at the entrance. Make sure the name on your ticket matches your ID.
When will I receive my tickets?
Bosburcht is working with sealed tickets to prevent ticketfraud. You will receive your tickets through e-mail shortly before the event. The exact date will be announced at a later moment.
I lost my ticket. What should I do?
If you've lost your ticket, don’t worry. You can retrieve it easily by clicking this link. Simply enter the ticket ID from your bank payment confirmation, and they'll resend your ticket right away.
I can no longer attend, what should I do with my ticket?
To put your ticket up for resale, simply open your original ticket confirmation email and click the button to manage your order. From there, you can easily list your ticket on TicketSwap.
Can I buy or sell tickets via a resale platform?
Yes. You can only safely buy or sell four weeks prior to the event.

Deposit
Staying in a castle is something special, and we want to keep it that way – for you and for future guests.
That’s why we ask for a €150 deposit.
To have your deposit refunded, please make sure you:
- Return all keys – lost keys will be charged €40 each
- Leave all linen complete and in good condition – lost items cost €20 each
- Don’t leave any loose trash – a messy room will result in a €75 cleaning fine
- Ensure there is no damaged or broken furniture
Treat the castle like your own home (or even better), and we’ll refund your deposit within 21 days after the event.
Important: Close your room door securely at check-out to prevent others from entering. We will inspect the room during cleaning.
Pro tip: Film a short video of your room before checking out – just in case.

Where is my castle room?
Castle rooms are located in both castles on the festival site, and have different layouts. Some have bunk beds, while others do not. It’s not possible to specify in advance which of the two buildings your room will be in or how it will be arranged. Castle rooms may slightly differ from the photos on the accommodation page.
Do I need to bring anything?
The luxury of a castle room means you only need to bring your toiletries. Linens, a towel, and a cozy pillow will all be provided for you.
Is there electricity in the castle rooms?
Yes, there is electricity available in the castle rooms.
Sound disturbance
Some of the rooms are closer to stages than the others. Bosburcht is a day-and-night festival so we cannot assure you there won't be any disturbance from sound or other visitors movements. It is not possible to reserve a specific room. In most cases, the rooms are away from stages and sound. However, we advise you to bring sleeping ear-plugs.

Can I bring food?
Yes, with a weekender ticket you can bring fruit and some snacks on Thursday and Friday. On Saturday and Sunday, you are not allowed to bring food or drinks.
Can I bring drinks?

With a weekender ticket you may bring drinks upon arrival on Thursday or Friday. On Saturday and Sunday, you are not allowed to bring food or drinks.
You can bring 2 liters of liquids (water, juice, soft drinks, or low-alcohol beverages (maximum 15% alcohol). ) Drinks must be in their original packaging (sealed) and cannot be in glass containers. Bringing glass to Bosburcht is not allowed.
Please note: this only applies to your first entry. Once you’re wearing a Bosburcht wristband, you are not allowed to bring additional liquids from outside to the Festival grounds. You are, however, allowed to bring empty (reusable) bottles to fill with drinking water.
Sunday ticket(s):
With a Sunday ticket you are not allowed to bring any drinks or food.
With a weekender ticket you may bring drinks upon arrival on Thursday or Friday. On Saturday and Sunday, you are not allowed to bring food or drinks.

You are allowed to bring a small gas stove for camping at Bosburcht Festival (2025). The gas canisters must have a maximum capacity of 230g. To satisfy your hunger, we have a food court with a variety of options, including vegetarian and vegan choices.
Can I bring cutlery?
Knives (metal) and other sharp cutlery are, of course, not allowed.
Can I bring a kettle, coffee maker, or other household appliances?
It is not allowed to bring electric household appliances to Bosburcht.
Can i bring my camper to Bosbucht?
Yes, with a camper ticket you can bring your (converted) camper van to Bosburcht Festival, but additional rules apply.
- Only campers that meet the Road Traffic Act and Vehicle Regulations (Wegenverkeerswet en Regeling Voertuigen) requirements are permitted.
- It is prohibited to use the existing power grid. If you are found to be connected to the location's power supply, you will be removed from the premises without warning.
- Maximum length: 650 cm.
- Not allowed: Temporarily converted vehicles (e.g., vans, station wagons with a mattress, folding trailers) and caravans.
- You can only arrive with your camper on Thursday between 14:00 and 22:00 and Friday between 10:00 and 22:00. Departure of campers is only allowed on Monday.
- You cannot park your camper independently; the camping team will assign you a spot. Always follow their instructions.

Bringing drugs is not allowed.
Can I go for a swim?
The castle grounds offers a beautiful pond with a beach area. Please note that swimming or entering the water is entirely at your own risk. Entering the water outside of these designated areas is strictly prohibited. Swimming is only allowed between 08:00 and sunset. The organization cannot be held liable for any incidents or emergencies.
Will there be a security check at the entrance?
Yes. Our security team will check for items that are prohibited according to our house rules.
Are cigarettes sold at Bosburcht?
No, cigarettes are not sold at the venue.
Are earplugs available for purchase?
Yes, at the camping shop.
Are there lockers available?
Currently, there are no lockers for rent at the festival. We recommend leaving your valuables at home.
What are your house rules?
Welcome to Bosburcht Festival! We aim to create a safe, respectful, and unforgettable experience together. By entering the premises, you agree to the house rules and terms below.
1. Bosburcht Festival is only accessible to visitors aged 18 and over. If in doubt, a valid ID may be requested.
2. Only official, valid tickets guarantee access. Ticket fraud or resale outside the official channels will result in denial of entry.
3. You may be searched and/or frisked at the entrance. Security has the right to search personal belongings. Denial of such a search may result in refusal of entry.
4. You are required to show a valid ID at the entrance. If you do not have it, you may be refused entry.
5. Weapons, knives, fireworks, flares, glassware, nitrous oxide, oil and gas lamps, generators, and sound systems larger than 25 cm x 10 cm x 10 cm are not allowed. Confiscated dangerous items will not be returned.
6. It is forbidden to possess, use, trade, or process drugs or hallucinogenic substances on the festival grounds. Violations may result in immediate removal and possible police reporting.
7. Flags, football shirts, and other expressions that may be perceived as offensive are not allowed to ensure a respectful and inclusive atmosphere.
8. Open flames are prohibited, except in designated areas. During extreme drought, a complete ban on campfires will apply.
9. Bosburcht Festival is an inclusive space. Discrimination, racism, sexism, homophobia, vandalism, or any other disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated.
10. Sexual harassment, physical or verbal violence, aggression, and inappropriate behavior will result in immediate removal without the right to a refund.
11. Festival visitors are asked to look out for each other and contact the Welfare team, First Aid, or security if problems arise.
12. Always follow the instructions of festival staff and security.
13. Only accessible with a valid camping ticket. Wild camping in the immediate vicinity is prohibited.
14. Bringing your own food and drink to the campsite is allowed. You may bring 2 liters of juice, soft drinks, or weak alcoholic beverages (everything with an alcohol percentage lower than 15%). Strong alcoholic drinks (15% alcohol or higher) are not allowed. This must be in its original packaging (closed) and cannot be made of glass.
15. You may bring one small gas stove (max. 230g gas canister). Larger setups or loose gas bottles are not allowed.
16. Keep the campsite clean! Use the trash bins and do not leave rubbish near your tent.
17. Small portable speakers are allowed, but please be considerate of your neighbors. Large sound systems are not allowed. Maximum size: 25 cm x 10 cm x 10 cm.
18. Only campers that comply with the Road Traffic Act & Vehicle Regulations (maximum length of 650 cm) are allowed. Folding caravans, (temporarily) converted vans, and caravans are not allowed. You need a separate camper ticket for this. You will be assigned a spot by the camping team. Choosing your own spot or moving the camper is not allowed. Campers can arrive on Thursday between 12:00 - 22:00 and Friday between 10:00 - 22:00. Departure is only allowed on Monday.
19. Only built-in gas installations are allowed in campers. Loose gas bottles are prohibited.

22. By entering the premises, you give permission to be photographed or filmed. The footage may be used on Bosburcht's social media or promotional channels.

25. Visiting the festival grounds is at your own risk. The organization, venue owners, and staff are not liable for injury, damage, loss, or theft.
26. Your access will be denied or you will be removed for:
- Lack of a valid ticket.
- Excessive alcohol consumption or visible drunkenness.
- Inappropriate behavior, aggression, or violation of the house rules.
- Offensive behavior towards staff or visitors.

- Racism, sexism, homophobia, vandalism, or any other form of exclusion.
- Unwanted comments, physical contact, sexual or verbal harassment.
- Aggression, threats, or any other harmful behavior.
We create this festival experience together, and we all have a collective responsibility to look out for and care for each other. Do you feel unsafe, or have you noticed a violation of this code of conduct? Please contact:
- Our Welfare team – available as a confidential contact for support and reports. The Welfare team works closely with the medical team and security to provide support and take appropriate steps.
- First aid or security – they can take immediate action if needed.
It is possible to report an incident after the festival – this can be done via socialsafety@bosburcht.nl. Please note that it may take a few business days for our (small) team to respond to the message.
However, we would like to point out that we can respond more quickly during the festival itself, allowing us to make the event safer immediately. Nevertheless, we understand and respect that making a direct report is not always possible or desired.
When dealing with reported violations, our top priority is to make the victim feel comfortable.
In case of a breach of this code of conduct:
- We may remove the offender from the site without the right to a refund.
- In the case of serious incidents, we may involve the police (in consultation with the victim).
- We reserve the right to refuse entry to individuals who pose a risk to the safety or inclusivity of others.
All reported incidents will be taken seriously and handled with care. If desired, we guarantee anonymous registration and evaluation by Bosburcht B.V.
Together, we ensure a festival where everyone feels welcome, free, and safe.

How do I pay at Bosburcht?
Bosburcht is a cashless event! At all bars, the restaurant, and the camping shop, you can pay using card or contactless payments. If you prefer to pay with cash, you can buy a cash card for €5 at the campsite shop. You can top it up there throughout the weekend during opening hours. Due to fraud sensitivity, the cash card cannot be refunded at the same campsite shop, so any remaining balance will not be refunded.
